ScanScore automatically underlines measures where something is wrong with the notes with an error marker.
If there are too many note values in a bar, you will see a light blue dashed line. If a bar has too few notes, the error marker appears purple. The number at the end of the marker refers to the voice level in which the error occurs.
When you have corrected the measure, the error message disappears automatically.
Note: ScanScore is not always right with its error marks. If you have checked the bar and can't find any errors - just ignore the marks. There will be no disadvantages.
This is how you can correct errors:
First, compare the original score on the left with the recognized document on the right to find the error.
To correct the erroneous measure, do the following:
1. Press the Escape key to go into Select Mode, or click the Cursor icon in the toolbar.
2a. To change a note value, mark the note with a single click. It is now highlighted in blue. Now go to the Notes and Rests toolbar above the score. Click on the correct note value and the marked note will be converted automatically.
2b. To insert a missing note, go to the Notes and Rests toolbar above the score. Click on the correct note value. Now you can put it directly into the right place in the document by clicking again.
Note: ScanScore does not detect every error automatically. Therefore, you should always check the score carefully - or use playback to hear errors.

Can you add tips for fixing recognition issues with staves. Example would be a situation where during import staves were incorrectly grouped.
