The result in ScanScore always depends on the quality of the original. Here are five tips for achieving maximum quality:
- In order to achieve the best results with ScanScore, it is important to have a good and clean image of the notes to be scanned.
- For a good scan result, you should take care to scan or photograph the page as straight as possible. Take the scan as evenly as possible and at a right angle from above. Lines and staves in a PDF document should also be straight. Oblique angles and crooked lines inevitably lead to a reduction of the scan quality.
- Make sure that the notes are well illuminated before scanning them or taking a picture.
- We recommend a high contrast and the black/white setting.
- The best scan results are achieved at a resolution of 300 to 600 dpi.
